A rare loose ring magennis snaffle has inset with copper rollers to enhance palatability. The mouthpiece has a square edge making the action sharper on the horse's bars.
The copper rollers help to prevent he horse from crossing its jaw as an evasion to the riders aids. Magennis bits can be very useful, but as with all strong bits should be used with care by experienced riders only.
