The Bombers Bomber Blue Eggbutt Bit is made with a solid nylon composite material that is light the mouth and encourages salivation. The shaped port offers tongue relief. This mouthpiece is particularly well suited to horses that object to metal mouth pieces and the material is non-toxic with a stainless steel core for durability.
The eggbutt cheek piece prevents pinching of the lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure.
